✨ The Virtues of Praying Upon the Prophet (Salat 'ala al-Nabi)
Sending peace and blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), known as Salat 'ala al-Nabi, is an act of immense virtue and reward in Islam. It is a direct fulfillment of an injunction from Allah in the Quran (33:56).
The Prophet taught that whoever sends one blessing upon him, Allah sends ten blessings upon that person, forgives ten of their sins, and raises their rank by ten degrees. This act ensures that a person receives divine mercy and purification of their soul.
Furthermore, frequent recitation of Salawat makes a believer closer to the Prophet on the Day of Judgment, and it is a means of having one's supplications (Du'a) accepted. It removes worries, brings peace to the heart, and is a profound expression of love and devotion for the Messenger of Allah.
